Stadlio

FAQ

Answers before you start

Everything you decide stays with you: prices, plans, brand and guests. Here are the questions places ask us most.

Getting started

How do I start?+

Create your place in a few minutes: business name, location and plan, then confirm your email. Every plan starts with a free trial, and you set everything else up from your dashboard.

Do we need developers?+

No dedicated code is needed per place. Branding, languages and modules are configured on the platform.

Can we start with just one module?+

Yes. Modules are switched on per place, so you can start with the services you need first and add more later.

Which languages are supported?+

The Stadlio website is available in English, Italian, French and German, and places run in the languages of their market.

Can I use my own domain?+

Yes. Your place starts on a free stadlio.com subdomain, and you can add your own domain later from the dashboard, under Site & Brand, Domain.

Pricing and earnings

How much does Stadlio cost?+

Plans are listed on the pricing page, with monthly or yearly billing and a free trial. You can change plan whenever you need, with no lock-in.

Does Stadlio take a commission on the subscriptions my local businesses pay me?+

No. Local businesses pay you, on your own Stripe account, and Stadlio does not take any commission on those subscriptions. Any transaction fees on other sales are defined in your plan.

Who sets the prices?+

You do. You set the price of every experience, rental, ticket and product, and you create the plans and prices that local businesses pay you.

How can my place earn money?+

Five ways: selling your own experiences, rentals, tickets and products; affiliate commissions on tours, ferries and travel insurance; subscriptions from local businesses; paid promotions; and referring other places to Stadlio.

Can I earn from travel insurance?+

Yes. With the insurance guides module you add your own affiliate ID for each insurer, and guests follow your links from the coverage and comparison pages. You earn the commission set by the affiliate network, paid to you and not through Stadlio. The module is included in some plans or can be added on request.

Are the numbers in the simulator guaranteed?+

No. The simulator uses example values that you can change, to help you reason about your own place. Real results depend on your place, your prices and how many businesses join.

Local businesses

Which businesses can I charge?+

Restaurants, hotels, beach clubs and venues, rentals, shops and marketplace sellers, service providers such as barbers and salons, and organizers of events and experiences. For each type you create plans and prices in your dashboard.

How do local businesses join?+

Businesses can claim their listing and verify it, or you can invite them from the dashboard. Once they are in, they choose a plan and pay you by subscription.

Can I offer a free plan to businesses?+

Yes. A free plan exists by default for each business type, and you can add paid plans with the features and limits you choose.

Payments

How do payments work?+

Online payments, subscriptions and payouts run through Stripe Connect, with optional Stripe Tax. Money goes to the accounts you connect, not through Stadlio.

Does Stadlio see card data?+

No. Payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI DSS certified, and no card data is stored on Stadlio servers.

Data and security

Where is the data hosted?+

Customer data is hosted in Germany, inside the European Union, on Hetzner infrastructure. Backups are encrypted and stored off-site.

Is Stadlio GDPR compliant?+

Data processing is aligned with European and Swiss law (GDPR and nFADP), and a Data Processing Agreement is available on request. Read the details in the Trust center.

Who owns the guest relationship?+

You do. Stadlio is white-label, so guests and partners see your brand, not ours.

Your brand and technology

What does my place get?+

A branded website, a native app, a PWA and an admin, all connected to the same platform and the same guests.

Is AI required?+

No. AI features such as content generation and moderation are modules you can switch on, with limits you control. See the AI page for how it works.
