Travel insurance
Help guests choose travel insurance, and earn when they do
Your site gets insurance guides with coverage answers checked against the insurer's documents. Guests follow your affiliate links to the insurer, and the commission goes to you.
The problem
Guests ask about insurance, and the answer lives on someone else's site
Travellers look up what a policy covers before they book. If your place does not answer, they leave for a third-party site, and the commission leaves with them.
How it works
From setup to going live in three steps
- 1
Switch on the module
The insurance guides module is switched on for your place. It is included in some plans and can be added on request.
- 2
Add your affiliate ID
For each insurer, sign up through the link shown in your dashboard and paste your own affiliate ID. All that insurer's products go live on your site with your tracking.
- 3
Publish and earn
Guests read coverage pages, comparisons and claims guides, then follow your link to the insurer. The commission is paid to you through the insurer's affiliate network, and you follow sales in a report.
What is included
Everything the module covers
- Insurance hub, product pages, comparisons and scenario pages, for example whether a scooter accident is covered
- Coverage answers published only with the policy document, page and verification date, and a note that policy terms apply
- Pages for visa and destination requirements, with the official source and date
- Claims guide and an indicative price, always shown with its date
- Your own affiliate ID for each insurer: the commission is yours, Stadlio holds no affiliate account and takes no share
- Clear affiliate disclosure and sponsored links, with no third-party scripts, so your cookie setup does not change
- Click counts per insurer, and a sales and commission report from the network's postback
- Optional email before the trip for guests with a confirmed experience booking who subscribed to your newsletter
- Fixed texts in six languages; product details in Italian and English
- Optional insurance at checkout (Cover Genius, battleface) is a separate module, with your own credentials
Questions
Frequently asked questions
How do I earn with insurance?+
You use your own affiliate ID with each insurer. Guests follow your link from the insurance pages, and the commission is paid to you through the insurer's affiliate network. Stadlio holds no affiliate account and does not take a share.
How much commission will I get?+
It depends on the terms of each affiliate network and insurer. Stadlio does not set it.
Is this insurance advice?+
No. It is a neutral list with stated criteria, a disclosure of the affiliation and a note that the policy terms apply. Stadlio does not issue policies or give advice.
How are coverage answers checked?+
Each answer is tied to the policy document, the page and a verification date, and a person reviews it before it is published. Answers not re-checked for 180 days show a warning. No document, no answer.
Is the module included in my plan?+
It depends on the plan. It can be included in a plan or added on request: check your plan or ask us.
What about insurance at checkout?+
That is a separate, optional module. You can offer an insurance add-on at checkout on rentals, experiences and ticketing with Cover Genius or battleface, using your own credentials. The policy is issued by the insurer: Stadlio is not the insurer or the broker.
